Took place from 10 January 2022, the International Financial Week (IFW) 2022 featured 18 partner events, including the Asian Financial Forum 2022, to build synergy on promoting the global financial ecosystem. These events addressed a host of topics facing the global financial and business communities, including private equity, alternative assets, family office, woman empowerment and ESG.

Activities eligible for being listed under the IFW will be required to comply with the following guideline:
- Organisers of the applying events must be non-profit-making organisations or educational institutions, although the organisers may engage commercial entities as sponsors and/or supporting organisations where necessary. Only the logo of the organisers will be displayed at the IFW website and other relevant marketing collaterals.
- It is not necessary for the event organisers to be Hong Kong-based entities.
- Only events held in Hong Kong within the designated period of the IFW will be considered.
- Applying events must not conflict with confirmed AFF existing programme and IFW events in terms of themes and topics.
- IFW events must be open to registration by participants of the Asian Financial Forum (free admission or otherwise).
- The Hong Kong Trade Development Council reserves the right to amend the schedule, terms and conditions of the IFW without prior notice. Should there be any disputes; the decisions of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council will be final and binding.
